C-RAM Test

This is what an automatic anti-missile weapon looks like when fired at 3am. Something like every 7-10 rounds fired is a tracer. This thing fires so many rounds per minute that it makes an almost solid line of light. The top photo was taken directly over my head with a crappy 4 mp camera and the bottom photo was taken by a very good friend of mine with a professional camera setup. His looks much better when you click on it to see the blown up version. The best part about these tests are that the military never informs anyone they are going to happen. The only sound you hear is a loud buzzing as the rounds pass overhead followed by close to 165 phone calls to find out what the hell it was. This happened twice in one week.

Miss you too troj, Head, blow me, I'm already more updated than you, Nappy, it's actually a 30 mm gatlin gun with a much higher cyclic rate, in the Navy we called it ciws. Looks like R2D2 with a hard on. Nice to have you guys aboard.

You are correct about being more up to date than me, but that does not mean that I am any less cool! Especially if you want to talk quantity, catch up if you can.
